About the event

Join us for a night of fun and laughter at Petworth's biggest comedy night.

Line-up includes:

Ricky Balshaw

A quick-witted, slow walking, fast rising star, Ricky Balshaw is without question, the funniest Paralympic Dressage medallist in the UK, perhaps the world.

Stepping over his cerebral palsy like it’s the mildest of inconveniences, Ricky pulls his audience into a joyfully dark world of self-depreciating hilarity. No sympathy vote is needed (or accepted) as Ricky dominates comedy stages up and down the UK.

A brilliant joke-smith and storyteller, this young man has comedy greatness in his bones.

Kate Martin

Kate is a seasoned performer and MC at top comedy clubs and corporate events across the UK, with recent gigs including tour support for Zoe Lyons and Esther Manito. Growing up as a young carer, she understands the power of humour in navigating life’s challenges. With a background in mental health, social care, and criminal justice, Kate uses comedy to tackle sensitive topics, earning acclaim for her skill in blending humour with difficult subjects. Her PhD in mental health adds depth to her comedic approach, making her a standout in the comedy scene.

Elaine Fellows

Tour support for Laura Smyth 2024 & Colin Hoult 2022. Komedia Comedy Award Finalist 2023. Hastings Newcomer of the Year Runner Up 2022. 2Northdown Comedy Finalist 2022.  South Coast Comedian of the Year Finalist 2022.

“Hilarious, quirky and prone to oversharing! Appealingly natural. Original yet relatable material” - Chortle "Delightfully low energy, holds the audience well” - The Reviews Hub "Absolutely fantastic. A star in the making”- Brighton Grin “Likeable, funny and endearing.” - Three Weeks Edinburgh

Dave Chawner

Dave's a number 1 best-selling author, award-winning stand up, presenter & mental health campaigner.

Dave's 1st Edinburgh show, Normally Abnormal, sensitively used humour to explore his anorexic past. The show received critical acclaim, had sell-out shows and went on UK tour. As a result, the show was given an award by The UK's Eating Disorder Charity  at The Houses Of Parliament in 2014.
